Little Ghostie's starting to come closer to the house, just hanging out in the reasonably well-lit area of the side patio. Lots of progress tonight - she ran over and started eating even as I was pouring the cat food into her bowl, and she insisted on inspecting the pouch to make sure I got it all before I tossed it; then she let me pet her the entire time she was eating, and stuck around for more scritches and pettings for almost forty-five minutes before I finally went back inside, purring almost the entire time. Just over 24 hours since official first contact (meowing at me from the shadows as I was leaving the house asking for dinner)... Any day now I expect her to follow Sophie back into the house. :D
