Palm Desert anti-Trump (#0312)

This was in Palm Desert, part of the Coachella Valley but culturally very distinct from Palm Springs. The valley has become basically gay/feminist liberal on the Palm Springs west end, generally liberal Hispanic workers on the east end, and a fairly high proportion of wealthy Republicans in the middle cities. Palm Desert is sort of mixed, but definitely not as left as PS. So, the existence of the march in Palm Desert was quite a surprise, as was its reception. BUT, I do have to admit that I saw many PS liberals at the march -- ours had to be canceled due to a biking race at the same time and space.
