Berlin Leipziger Platz (#2007)
An interesting building at Leipziger Platz. Though the style looks like a 60's attempt at mixing Middle-Eastern and Western architecture, I could find no information on the building. Given that Leipzigeer Platz was rebuilt after the fall of the Wall, this architecture has to be post 1989. (Go to larger size for more detail)

I believe that is Classicon Leipziger Platz 9 ... www.emporis.com/buildings/147272/classicon-leipziger-platz-9-berlin-germany

The style is reminiscent of a few condo buildings that have gone up in the last decade or so here. It must be a phase architects are going through. From what I can see on the Emporis site, almost everything around Leipziger Platz has gone up since 2000.

You got it. The structures on the sides of the picture look 2000, but the heaviness of the trim in the main part (to me) looks a good bit older, even though it can't be.
