Owens Lake mitigation (0383)
LADWP efforts to mitigate the effects of having been draining the inflow for Owens Lake for 100 years. Some portions of the lake will be reflooded, other portions they're only trying to control the flow of toxic dust.

Where do they plan on getting the water to reflood the lake?

I would guess that they plan to make some sections dry with some sort of planting to reduce dust, some will be a shallow wetlands (for birds), and some sections comparatively deep, with the net effect being no more water than already flows in.
