SF Castro 1844 Market at Guerrero (0511)

Taken from across the street from Linea, looking at 1844 Market (113 rental units), and then 8 Octavia (first crane) and 100 Van Ness (second crane). Somewhat hidden (the yellow rectangle in the distance, seen below and to the left of the red light), is construction of 1600 Market, VARA. This photo is part of an effort to document the tremendously high level of residential construction occurring in San Francisco. The project documented in this photo is one of 11 large-scale housing developments that are being built in a 10 block area that stretches for about a mile from the Castro neighborhood towards downtown.
