Oceanside Pier Pelicans 0813a

The adjacent pictures (in Orange/SD county album) are of two pelicans that appeared to be very comfortable with people. Per a story I heard some time back, at least one of the pelicans had been in animal rescue for some period due to an injury, which may be why they are so comfortable with people. Of course, it might just be the fact that people feed them.
