Built in 1735 for the Duff family.
Located in Banff, Scotland, rather than the neighbouring town of Macduff, which is just on the other side of the river Deveron.

This bench in on the path above the sea wall in Pennan. As can be seen, the sea lifts pebbles up over the wall onto the path and this bench is gradually being buried!

The Pennan Phone Box

Pennan was one of the filming locations for the film "Local Hero", which famously features a phone box, just not this one. That one was a fake box, this is the real one!
