Saturday 6 May 2017 (1358) - Lothian Buses 39 (BT64 LHU), a Volvo 7900H integral new in November 2014, seen outside the Scottish Parliament Building in Edinburgh.

Monday 8 May 2017 (0828) – Two Wright Eclipse Gemini bodied Volvo B9TL double deckers in Princes Street, Edinburgh. Lothian Buses 338 (SN59 BFZ) new September 2009 stands behind one of the buses transferred from the main Lothian fleet initially to the Lothian Country Buses fleet which has now become East Coast Buses. The livery and fleetname is that of LCB.

Sunday 7 May 2017 (0938) – Lothian Buses 214 (SN61 BCF) seen turning from Lothian Road into Princes Street, Edinburgh. It is an Alexander Dennis (ADL) Enviro400 new in September 2011 which sports a recently introduced livery style. (The clock on the Fraser building was incorrect).

Sunday 7 May 2017 (1423) – Lothian Buses 994 (SN57 DCE), a Scania N94UD Omnicity new in September 2007, seen on the Royal Mile in Edinburgh heading for Ocean Terminal on service 35. I managed to include a kilted gent in the photograph.

Sunday 7 May 2017 (1415) – Lothian Buses 995 (SK06 AHF), a Scania N94UD Omnicity new in June 2006, seen on the Royal Mile in Edinburgh heading for the Airport on service 35.

Saturday 6 May 2017 (1142) – Edinburgh Bus Tours 651 (XIL 1484) is a Plaxton President bodied Dennis Trident that had been new to the main Lothian fleet registered as either SK52 OHM or SK52 OHN. (I will have to check this point out as there are conflicting references on the Internet). The bus has been part of the tours fleet for quite some time and now works the ‘3 Bridges Tour’ that runs out to the Forth rail and road bridges.

Saturday 6 May 2017 (0901) – Lothian Buses 310 (SN09 CUG) seen in Princes Street, Edinburgh. It is a Wright Eclipse Gemini bodied Volvo B9TL new in April 2009 that wears a branded livery for service 26 plus an advert for Edinburgh Zoo which is served by the route.

Saturday 6 May 2017 (0901) – Lothian Buses 40 (BT64 LHV), 904 (SN08 BXU) and 310 (SN09 CUG) heading along Princes Street, Edinburgh.

Saturday 6 May 2017 (0901) – A procession of buses heading along Princes Street, Edinburgh. Leading is East Coast Buses 10054 (SF17 VMA) followed by First Scotland East 63255 (SN65 OKV) and Lothian Buses 40 (BT64 LHV), 904 (SN08 BXU) and 310 (SN09 CUG).

Saturday 6 May 2017 (0854) – Lothian Buses 427 (SA15 VTE) seen leaving Hanover Street to cross Princes Street in Edinburgh when arriving from the Airport on service 100. It is a Wright Eclipse Gemini 3 bodied Volvo B7TL new in June 2015.

Saturday 6 May 2017 (0854) – Lothian Buses 561 (SA15 VUM), a Wrightbus Eclipse Gemini 3 bodied Volvo B5TL new in July 2015, on Princes Street, Edinburgh.

Saturday 6 May 2017 (0854) – Lothian Buses 796 (SN56 AEW) seen leaving Hanover Street to cross Princes Street in Edinburgh. It is a Wright Eclipse Gemini 3 bodied Volvo B7TL new in December 2016.

Saturday 6 May 2017 (0849) – Lothian Buses 448 (SJ66 LPF), a Wrightbus Eclipse Gemini 3 bodied Volvo B5TL new in December 2016, passes Edinburgh Trams 260 and 256 on Princes Street. The tramway system opened in May 2014 with 27 Urbos 3 seven section car sets built by CAF of Spain. (251-277).
