Sunday 25 September 2016 (1003) – Trent Barton (trentbarton) ‘indigo’ branded Wright Eclipse bodied Volvo B7RLE 708 (FJ58 KJZ) pursuing a Nottingham Express Transit (NET) tram in Chilwell. Both were bound for Nottingham city centre.

Sunday 25 September 2016 (0907) – Competing modes from Beeston Interchange into Nottingham city centre. Trent Barton (trentbarton) 701 (FJ58 KJK), a Wright Eclipse bodied Volvo B7RLE new in September 2008, working the 0839 ‘indigo’ service from Briar Top was scheduled to arrive at Broadmarsh bus station at 0927 (passing the railway station about two minutes or so before). Nottingham Express Transit (NET) 227, a a Spanish built Alstom Citadis new 2013-2014, was scheduled at the railway station at 0926. The track on the right of the tram appeared to be a spur allowing trams from the city direction to diverge from the main westbound track and travel towards the platform for city bound (eastbound) services. The platform for westbound trams running through towards Chilwell and Toton Lane is across the roadway.

It was just joining the path shared with trams towards Chilwell Road. The tracks in the foreground take trams towards Nottingham city centre.

Sunday 25 September 2016 (0920) – A Trent Barton (trentbarton) ‘indigo’ branded Wright Eclipse bodied Volvo B7RLE passing Nottingham City Transport 624 (YN14 MUO) in Chilwell working service 36, one of ‘orange line’ branded services with buses in a grey and orange livery. The tram tracks for the Nottingham Express Transit (NET) line to Toton Lane are just visible bottom right.

Sunday 25 September 2016 (0920) – A Trent Barton (trentbarton) ‘indigo’ branded Wright Eclipse bodied Volvo B7RLE passing the former home of Barton Transport in Chilwell. The Wellglade Group, owners of Trent Buses, acquired Barton Transport in 1989 and merged the two businesses to form ‘trentbarton’.

Thursday 13 September 2018 (1038) – One of the Trent Barton (trentbarton) Alexander Dennis Enviro200Ds new in July 2018 zipping out of Beastmarket Hill to Angel Row in Nottingham. Branded for the Nottingham-Beeston ‘Indigo’ service. (Batch is numbered 201-217. Bus 205 is registered YY18 TOV and bus 215 is registered YY18 TSO)

Thursday 9 October 2014 (1016) - Seen from a moving car in Mansfield Road, Sutton-in-Ashfield, Trent Barton (trentbarton) 724 (FJ58 KKT), working the 0830 'Black Cat' branded service from Derby to Mansfield. This Wright bodied Volvo B7RLE carries a livery marking 100 years since the founding of Trent Motor Traction (during 2013).

Thursday 9 October 2014 (1016) - Seen from a moving car in Mansfield Road, Sutton-in-Ashfield, Trent Barton (trentbarton) 724 (FJ58 KKT), working the 0830 'Black Cat' branded service from Derby to Mansfield. This Wright bodied Volvo B7RLE carries a livery marking 100 years since the founding of Trent Motor Traction (during 2013) and features the names of various company employees on the side.

Tuesday 11 September 2018 (1252) – Wellglade owned Trent Barton (trentbarton) 630 (FJ03 VWW), a Wright Solar bodied Scania L94UB new in August 2003, seen in Calverton working the ‘Calverton Connection’ service. This service runs every 15 minutes to/from Nottingham operating as an anti-clockwise circular route around the village. Different messages are carried on the rear panels of the buses, this one ‘the friendliest drivers around’. Until the 1930s Calverton was a small forest village with an economy based on agriculture. In 1937 the first shaft of what would become Calverton Colliery was sunk but it was in the early 1950s that the colliery opened on a much larger scale bringing an expansion of the population as miners and their families came to live in newly built homes. The mine closed in 1999 and Calverton primarily became a commuter village to the city of Nottingham about 7 miles distant. There are pockets of industry around the village including the premises of clothing conglomerate VF Northern Europe Limited.
