Tuesday 30 April 2013 (1431) – Oxford Bus Company (The City of Oxford Motor Services Ltd) 964 (L1 OXF) is now used as a driver training vehicle. A new recruit cautiously takes the bus round the corner from High Street to St. Aldate’s in Oxford city centre as his colleagues look on. I am not sure what registration number this bus carried previously. L1 OXF was originally carried by an Irizar Century coach which was re-registered OW03 LFL before being sold (to Stephensons of Essex).

Tuesday 30 April 2013 (1214) – Oxford Bus Company (The City of Oxford Motor Services Ltd) 94 (DD08 OXF), a Plaxton bodied Volvo B12B new in March 2008, seen in St. Aldate’s, Oxford arriving from London (Victoria) on service X90. Other OBC vehicles in the view are 315 (HR11 OXF) in Park & Ride livery on the left and 204 (DF09 OXF) in Brookes bus blue livery behind. The gold bus behind that is a Stagecoach vehicle.

Tuesday 30 April 2013 (1225) – Oxford Bus Company (The City of Oxford Motor Services Ltd) 99 (DD08 OXF), a Plaxton bodied Volvo B12B new in March 2008, seen turning from St. Aldate’s to High Street in Oxford heading out to London (Victoria) on service X90. The X90 runs every 15/20 minutes in the main part of every day competing with Stagecoach’s ‘Oxford Tube’ service. This would have been the 1220 service from Gloucester Green coach station.

Tuesday 30 April 2013 (1238) – Oxford Bus Company (The City of Oxford Motor Services Ltd) 3 (CF61 OXF), a Plaxton bodied Scania new in December 2011, heads along High Street, Oxford on its way to Heathrow Airport on the company’s direct ‘Airline’ service. This would have been the 1230 service from Gloucester Green coach station. In the background are OBC 85 (EB07 OXF) arriving on service X90 from London (Victoria) and Heyfordian YJ11 EJU on service 103

Tuesday 30 April 2013 (1406) – Oxford Bus Company (The City of Oxford Motor Services Ltd) 6 (FF61 OXF), a Plaxton bodied Scania new in December 2011, in St. Aldate’s in Oxford heading out of the city to Heathrow Airport on the company’s direct ‘Airline’ service. This would have been the 1400 service from Gloucester Green coach station. The dome over the entrance to Christ Church Cathedral forms a backcloth. Two OBC Enviro400 double deckers also in photo.

Tuesday 30 April 2013 (1214) – Oxford Bus Company (The City of Oxford Motor Services Ltd) 204 (DF09 OXF), an Alexander Dennis Enviro 400 bodied Scania new in July 2009, carries Brookes bus blue livery. Alongside is 315 (HR11 OXF) in Park & Ride livery. That also has similar bodywork but on an ADL hybrid chassis (new June 2011). Yet another Enviro400 is in the picture represented by Stagecoach in Oxfordshire (Thames Transit Ltd) 15837 (OU12 FGC), on Scania chassis new August 2012.

Tuesday 30 April 2013 (1232) – Oxford Bus Company (The City of Oxford Motor Services Ltd) 209 (JF09 OXF), an Alexander Dennis Enviro400 bodied Scania new in August 2009, carries the blue Brookes bus livery for a range of services operating to/from Brookes University. It was turning from High Street into St. Aldate’s in Oxford city centre followed by Mercedes-Benz Citaro 839 (AF55 OXF) carrying normal red city livery.
