Tuesday 18 February 2020 (1209) – In readiness for the relaunch of the services on the Cambridgeshire Guided Busway Stagecoach East took delivery of twelve 98 seat Alexander Dennis Enviro400XLB bodied Volvo B8L tri-axle double deckers in December 2019. Until the relaunch the new have been operating in an unlettered plain Ocean Green livery, one of the new recently introduced designs of the Stagecoach Group which identify vehicles on ‘specialist’ services. However, the relaunch has been deferred until completion of the rebuilding of an overbridge carrying the A14 trunk road over the Busway between Histon/Impington and Orchard Park. The late running bridge works (and apparently some construction damage to the Busway track beneath it) have resulted in that section of Busway being closed since June 2019. Having just left the Busway 13911 (BU69 XYM) is seen in Cambridge Road, Impington when heading towards Cambridge city centre. along the diversionary route.

The Busway was constructed along the former railway track alignment and the building with the slate roof above the front of the bus was Histon and Impington railway station. Its redevelopment appears to form part of a project featuring a number of new buildings.
