Friday 2 November 2012 (0947) – Stephensons of Essex 203 (OW03 LFL) carries branding for the ‘Suffolk Express’ Bury St Edmunds to Ipswich coach service X14 which began on Monday 22 October 2012. An Irizar Century bodied Scania K114 seen at Bury St. Edmunds about to depart on the 0945 service to Ipswich. Full digital destination displays are carried on the front and rear.

Saturday 3 November 2012 (1357) – Stephensons of Essex 203 (OW03 LFL), an Irizar Century bodied Scania K114, seen at Bury St. Edmunds carries branding for the ‘Suffolk Express’ Bury St Edmunds to Ipswich coach service X14 which began on Monday 22 October 2012.

Wednesday 14 November 2012 - Stephensons of Essex 505 (YN07 LHX), an East Lancs Olympus bodied Scania N230UD new to London United in June 2007 as their SO7, seen in Bury St Edmunds. Later in the day it operated on service X14 to Stowmarket and Ipswich following the failure of the coach normally used on that route. It is fitted with high backed seats.

Friday 1 February 2013 (1146) - Stephensons of Essex Limited vehicles on the X14 service at Bury St. Edmunds. ADL Enviro200 463 (YX11 CTU) had just arrived from Ipswich whilst Irizar bodied Scania coach 203 (OW03 LFL) was about to depart on what would be the 1140 service to Ipswich. Normally the coach, which carries branding for the X14, would have worked both the inward and outward trips - looks like the bus had deputised earlier.

Friday 13 July 2012 (1342) - Stephensons of Essex Limited V415 KMY, an East Lancs bodied Dennis Trident new to Metrobus in August 1999. Seen being prepared for towing away from Bury St Edmunds bus station by a Volvo tow truck of Manchetts from Burwell (FH02 TOW). After adjustments were made the bus was lowered somewhat before departure.

Friday 13 July 2012 (1342) - Stephensons of Essex Limited V415 KMY, an East Lancs bodied Dennis Trident new to Metrobus in August 1999. Seen being prepared for towing away by from Bury St Edmunds bus station by a Volvo tow truck of Manchetts from Burwell (FH02 TOW). Tuesday 31 May 2011 (1004) - Stephensons of Essex Limited took over Burtons Coaches in the latter days of the previous week and Stephensons buses were soon appearing in Suffolk. 432 (EU10 NVR), an Alexander Dennis Enviro 200 new in August 2010 carries lettering for the Witham to Maldon ‘Blackwater Link’ service. It had arrived in Mildenhall working the 0925 service 16 from Bury St Edmunds and was now returning as the 1005 service. Burtons had only started to run this service on 4 April 2011 competing with Mulleys service 355.

Friday 3 June 2011 (0848) - SN09 CGX, an Alexander Dennis Enviro 300 new to West Midlands (#1909) in March 2009, working for Stephensons of Essex Limited seen at Mildenhall bus station. I understand this bus was, in effect, a form of demonstrator supplied by ADL in the hope of future orders from the National Express owned West Midlands Travel.

Tuesday 7 June 2011 (approx 0640) - Stephensons of Essex Limited took over the failed business of Burtons Coaches at the end of May 2011 just before Burtons was to commence operation of the Suffolk County Council sponsored Newmarket-Mildenhall services 400/401 effective 6 June 2011. To assist with the need for extra vehicles for this additional work Stephensons loaned London Central LDP46 (R446 LGH), a Plaxton Pointer bodied Dennis Dart, which was seen at Mildenhall when working the 0630 hrs service 400 to Newmarket.

Monday 6 June 2011 (1424) - This was the first day of operation by Stephensons of Essex Limited of Suffolk County Council sponsored service 400/401. Plaxton Pointer bodied Dennis Dart 413 (EU03 CFX) was seen in Barton Mills when working the 1415 service from Mildenhall to Newmarket. Despite the number being displayed as 400 this was actually a service 401 journey. Lettering for the Witham to Maldon ‘Blackwater Link’ service is carried.
