Sunday 15 May 2022 (1115) – The Fenland Busfest at Whittlesey, Cambridgeshire. The rally is held in the town centre occupying Broad Street and Market Street with the rally control/bus ride departures centred on the Market Place. Now preserved by Eastern Bus Enthusiasts, the organisers of the Busfest event, former First Eastern Counties 574 (S574 TPW), a Wright Axcess Floline bodied Scania L94UB new in February 1999. In the Blue Bus livery used for Great Yarmouth area services.

Sunday 15 May 2022 (1141) – The Fenland Busfest at Whittlesey, Cambridgeshire. The rally is held in the town centre occupying Broad Street and Market Street with the rally control/bus ride departures centred on the Market Place. MBE 613R, a Roe bodied Leyland Fleetline new to Grimsby Cleethorpes Transport as a standard covered top bus in January 1977. Is preserved as GCT fleet number 113.

Sunday 15 May 2022 (1132) – The Fenland Busfest at Whittlesey, Cambridgeshire. The rally is held in the town centre occupying Broad Street and Market Street with the rally control/bus ride departures centred on the Market Place. MBE 613R, a Roe bodied Leyland Fleetline new to Grimsby Cleethorpes Transport as a standard covered top bus in January 1977. Is preserved as GCT fleet number 113. It was seen on Whitmore Street, Whittlesey as it set out for Ramsey on service 341 with a healthy load of passengers. In addition to the Busfest today there was a Classic Car Show at Ramsey and a music festival at Yaxley both served with Busfest services.

The rally is held in the town centre occupying Broad Street and Market Street with the rally control/bus ride departures centred on the Market Place. M1 OCT, an East Lancs bodied Volvo Olympian part The Delaine Heritage Trust Collection. New to Delaine in February 1995 as fleet number 116. Parked on the left is JMY 120N, the ‘Super National’ Leyland National built in June 1974 which entered service with National Travel (South East) the following summer.

Preserved DXI 3341, an Alexander N type bodied Leyland Tiger new to Ulsterbus in January 1984. Livery layout of Citybus related to Ulsterbus and ‘Lilford Traveller’ fleetname. (During the mid-2010s the bus had carried British registration 4993 UG seemly having reverted to its original Northern Ireland registration).

The rally is held in the town centre occupying Broad Street and Market Street with the rally control/bus ride departures centred on the Market Place. In this view are two vehicles representing Whippet Coaches Limited. Left, from the current fleet, is WD446 (YN08 DHM), an all Scania N230UD new to London United in March 2008 as their SP26. It carries route branding for the old established service worked between Huntingdon and Cambridge which now serves Cambourne, a new and expanding development about six miles west of Cambridge. Right, now preserved by Alex Cavanagh a member of Eastern Bus Enthusiasts, the organisers of the Busfest event, is VAV 160X is a Plaxton Supreme VI bodied Volvo B10M new in April 1982.

Preserved by the Eastern Bus Enthusiasts Group, the organisers of the Busfest event, is former Stagecoach 33305, a Plaxton Pointer bodied Dennis Dart (MPD) new in September 2001 to Cavalier Travel, Long Sutton. Stagecoach acquired the Cavalier business in 2008.
