Clarke, Pailton E357 MUT leaving Sanara Services, Red Lodge – 3 Sep 1988 (73-13)

Saturday 3 September 1988 – A terrible photograph which I have been able to enhance somewhat although nothing close to being acceptable. I include it as it was an out of the ordinary coach operator to pass through Red Lodge.

A Plaxton Paramount 3200 seen resuming its journey after taking a refreshment break at Sanara Services in Red Lodge, a once very popular stopping place. Previously known as The Suffolk Punch and was directly across the road from where the Doctor’s Surgery now is.

I believe it to be E357 MUT, a Plaxton Paramount 3200 bodied Dennis Javelin new to Clarke and Goodman in August 1988. Fleetname now just the former name.
