ALX400 bodied B7TLs at Whittlesey - 21 May 2023 (P1150652)

Sunday 21 May 2023 (1212) – The annual Fenland Busfest is held in the town centre of Whittlesey occupying Broad Street and Market Street with the rally control/bus ride departures centred on the Market Place.

A2B Travel Group AU53 HKD is a Transbus built Alexander style ALX400 bodied Volvo B7TL new October 2003 to First Eastern Counties. The colour scheme and wording remain from the Ipswich Reds network operated FEC.

Cambridge Bus and Coach Limited, Swavesey BYZ 6521, also a Volvo B7TL chassis and also with ALX400 bodywork. It was new to Citybus, Belfast in November 2005 (therefore built after the formation of Alexander Dennis which was in 2004) as their 2900 (EEZ 2900). (Buses magazine October 2022 reported it re-registered BYZ 6521 in August 2022).
