Aarhus Sporveje, Leyland DAB Travolator leaflet (Page 22 of 24)

Aarhus Sporveje, the city bus operator in Denmark’s second largest city, operated one of the revolutionary Travolator buses developed by Leyland DAB A/S (Dansk Automobil Byggeri A/S) which entered service in October 1987.

The Travolator had quite a number of innovative design features and this 24 page booklet was produced (in Danish) to highlight many of its attributes including how, at low speeds, all four wheels steered and because of the design and location of the rear drive wheels positioned either side of the engine it was claimed that the whole engine could be wheeled out from the vehicle in under one hour.

The booklet was probably produced by Aarhus Sporveje and Leyland DAB A/S but unfortunately does not carry a date.
