Galloway European 228 (AY55 DGV) in Bury St. Edmunds – 7 Oct 2005 (551-12)

Friday 7 October 2005 – On Tuesday 29 August 2005 Suffolk County Council sponsored a new Bury St. Edmunds to Stowmarket service via Woolpit numbered 384 as a result of the Eastern Counties Omnibus Company withdrawing their commercially operated service 86.

Galloway European Coachlines became the contracted operator adding two Wright Cadet bodied VDL SB120 single deckers to their fleet together with a double decker for use on the heavier loaded school time journeys.

228 (AY55 DGV) new in September 2005 is seen in Bury St. Edmunds bus station. The other Cadet was 227 (AY05 KVF) new in August 2005.
