Stagecoach East 21306 (BF65 WKV) in St. Ives - 1 Sep 2022 (P1130161)

Thursday 1 September 2022 (1136) – Stagecoach East 21306 (BF65 WKV), a Wright Eclipse bodied Volvo B8RLE new in December 2015, turning from Market Road to Station Road in St. Ives when working service 904 to Huntingdon and Peterborough. It had departed from Morrisons Supermarket at 1130 and was about to call at the bus station (1135).

For a time through services ran from Cambridge via the Cambridgeshire Guided Busway to St. Ives then onward via Huntingdon to Peterborough. The St. Ives to Peterborough section was later separated from the main Busway service and numbered 904.

Based at Fenstanton depot, from where vehicles employed on service 904 and the Busway work, the busway guide wheel is quite notable in this view with the bus wheels on full lock.
