'BUSES Festival' at Sywell Aerodrome - 7 Aug 2022 (P1120917)

Sunday 7 August 2022 – The ‘BUSES Festival’ is organised by Key Publishing, the publisher of BUSES magazine.

Preserved former Southern Vectis Omnibus Company DL 9706. The chassis is a Dennis Lancet built in 1935 and a wartime body dating from 1944 built by Eastern Coachworks at Irthlingborough.

During the Second World War Eastern Coachworks transferred their body building activities to Northamptonshire as Lowestoft was considered vulnerable to possible enemy action.
