Thursday 17 August 2000 - Stagecoach Cambus vehicles in Emmanuel Street, Cambridge. Left to right:

611 (P811 GMU), a Northern Counties bodied Volvo Olympian that was new in September 1996 to Stagecoach East London as their VN11. After service on Transport for London contracts it was cascaded to Cambus.

334 (R814 YUD), an Alexander ALX200 bodied Dennis Dart SLF that was new in February 1998 to Stagecoach’s Oxford based Thames Transit. Thus transferred from one famous city of learning to another.

440 (ACZ 7490), a Plaxton Paramount 3500 bodied Volvo B10M that was new to Wallace Arnold Tours in March 1992 registered J740 CWT. Destination blind showing X12 Ely.

164 (L664 MFL), a Marshall bodied Volvo B6 in the ‘City Rail Link’ livery. It was new to the pre-Stagecoach Cambus in October 1993. Cambus had been privatised on 5 December 1986 having been purchased by its management and nine years later, on 6 December 1995, was purchased by the Stagecoach Group.
