National Express coach station, Leeds – 5 May 2002 (482-21)

National Express coach station, Leeds – 5 May 2002 (482-21)
Bank Holiday Monday 5 May 2002 (approx. 1130) – The National Express coach station in Dyer Street, Leeds forms an integral part of the main bus station which is off camera to the right.

In this view Arriva Yorkshire 31 (P31 XUG) is just pulling in when working the 1100 National Express ‘Flightlink’ service 240 from Bradford to Gatwick Airport where it was due to arrive at 1820. It is a Van Hool Alizée bodied DAF new in June 1997.

Parked on a departure stand is Park’s of Hamilton HSK 653, a Plaxton Panther bodied Volvo B10M new in March 2002. This coach was on a lunch break (1105-1145) as it worked the 0715 National Express service 537 from Lincoln to Glasgow where it was due to arrive at 1730.
