Ensignbus 132 (YX66 WLH) in Mildenhall - 16 Nov 2021 (P1090944)

Tuesday 16 November 2021 (1236) – A most unusual sighting in Mildenhall was Ensignbus 132 (YX66 WLH), an Alexander Dennis (ADL) Enviro400D MMC new in January 2017 to Go-Goodwins of Eccles, Manchester.

The sign on the rear window (and side panel) declares it to be on loan to First Eastern Counties for use on their Excel services (regularly used on the Norwich-East Dereham service D I believe and to replace an accident damaged vehicle). It was running with another ‘decker in Coastal Red livery but that one got through the traffic lights at Kingsway/College Heath Road leaving this behind. The pair had come down the A11 from the Thetford direction and travelled on the A1101 from Fiveways, Barton Mills through Mildenhall continuing out of town on the A1101.

The East Norfolk Bus Blog site mentions that First Eastern Counties have a contract to Ely.
