Mulleys Motorways MUI 7919 (00D 40014, X179 CHJ) at Barton Mills - 8 Sep 2021 (P1090634)

Wednesday 8 September 2021 (0758) – Mulleys Motorways MUI 7919 seen in Barton Mills about to face a minor diversion due to drainage and road repairs in The Street. Normally the bus would travel straight along The Street to the Bull Inn but the diversion would take it down Church Lane (on the left) and then along Newmarket Road.

This was the 0735 service 955 from West Row via Mildenhall to Bury St. Edmunds, a service operated on schooldays only but also available to the general public.

The bus is an Alexander bodied Volvo B7TL new as Dublin Bus AV14 (00D 40014) in September 2000 which became X179 CHJ when imported to England. Mulleys re-registered it to MUI 7919 in May 2016.
