Foden PVSC6 KMA 553 - 9 Apr 1983

Saturday 9 April 1983 – For thirty five years I wondered where I took this photograph and now believe I can say it was at the premises of Fosdike Coaches in Bramfield near Halesworth. I was travelling with an enthusiasts group to visit the Eastern Coachworks factory in Lowestoft.

KMA 553, a Plaxton bodied Foden PVSC6 had been new to Bullocks Coaches of Cheadle, Cheshire in April 1948. Amazingly the coach was superbly restored in later years and the result may be seen in the following links:
