DSCF0918 Whippet Coaches (National Express contractor) NX30 (BV67 JZR) in Mildenhall - 8 Mar 2018

Thursday 8 March 2018 (1224) – Whippet Coaches NX30 (BV67 JZR), a Caetano Levante bodied Scania K440 new in January 2018, seen in Mildenhall when working the 0830 National Express service 727 from Heathrow to Norwich. Service 727 had its origins as a ‘Jetlink’ branded service which later saw operation under the ‘National Express Airport’ brand. It was worked by National Express Operations Limited for a number of years (covered from garages near Heathrow and Stansted Airports as well as from an outstation at Norwich). In January 2018 Whippet took over as the contractor for this service (and for some of the London services from Norfolk and Suffolk) working from an outstation near Diss/Eye in Suffolk.
