Centrebus L104 SDY in Welwyn Garden City - 3 Jun 2004

Thursday 3 June 2004 - The Blazefield Group sold its St. Albans based Sovereign Bus and Coach Limited operations to Centrebus of Leicester on 4 January 2004 which traded as inMotion, St Albans. Some Sovereign vehicles, mainly mini-buses, passed to the new company whereas some of Sovereigns larger vehicles, like Plaxton Interurban bodied Dennis Javelin 704 (L104 SDY), were loaned to Centrebus for a time. In this view, taken at Welwyn Garden City bus station, 704 has had orange over stickers (and an orange coachline??) applied. Centrebus sold the St. Albans operation to Uno (University of Hertfordshire in March 2008.
