NET trams 211 and 210 in Nottingham - 8 Mar 2004

Monday 8 March 2004 - This was the day before the opening of the Nottingham Express Transit (NET) tram system and a special service was in operation for invited guests including prizewinners of local competitions etc.

Tram set 211 (left) squeals round the curve after leaving South Parade as set 210 approaches. The idiot with the dog was determined not to allow his pace to be held back by the approaching 210 whose warning bell was vigorously clanging as it headed towards him.
