Lewis Meridian A203 TAR at the Dog and Partridge, Barton Mills - 24 Jun 1989

Lewis Meridian A203 TAR at the Dog and Partridge, Barton Mills - 24 Jun 1989
Saturday 24 June 1989 – Lewis Meridian Coaches are still based in Greenwich, South East London – a place famous for the Greenwich Meridian zero degrees longitude which is incorporated in the company name. Each coach also included its own individual name after the fleetname, in this case ‘Corvette’. A203 TAR had an AEC Reliance chassis which was rebuilt from East Kent Road Car Company 8059 (HFN 59L) which was new with a Duple Dominant body in August 1973. Fitted with the Berkhof body seen here in early 1984. It was seen at the Dog and Partridge Inn, Barton Mills during a lunch stop.
