West Coast Motors W200 WCM (Scottish Citylink contractor) at Glasgow - 27 Mar 2001

Tuesday 27 March 2001 (0712) – West Coast Motors Van Hool Alizee bodied DAF SB300 W200 WCM was ticking over in Buchanan bus station, Glasgow about to depart on the 0715 Scottish Citylink service 916 to Uig on the Isle of Skye. A young couple with a very, very well behaved little child had travelled up from London on the National Express overnight service (as did I) and they transferred to this coach to continue their journey. The London coach was due in at 0700 but was 10 minutes late which made for a tight connection although I believe the inspector was poised to hold the coach if necessary.
