292/01 Premier Travel Services (AJS) VAV 254X at Haverhill - 19 May 1990
Saturday 19 May 1990 – History in the making, this was the very last service 38 duty operated by Premier Travel Services and I had the honour of driving it. The following day the service was transferred to Cambridge Coach Services. Plaxton Supreme bodied Leyland Tiger 292 (VAV 254X) is seen in Haverhill bus station ready to leave at 1525 for London (Eccleston Bridge). Not only did the service pass to CCS but so did 292 and also 294 (VAV 256X).
