Line up at Cambridge Coach Services, Kings Hedges - 19 Apr 1994

Line up at Cambridge Coach Services, Kings Hedges - 19 Apr 1994
Tuesday 19 April 1994 - Three Plaxton Paramount bodied Volvo B10M coaches parked at the Kings Hedges Road site of Cambridge Coach Services. The land, on the northern outskirts of Cambridge, had been acquired by Premier Travel with the acquisition of the Percival’s Motors (Cambridge) business and Premier developed the site as a new operating base around 1984 christening it ‘Premier Park’. It was a supreme quality site for coach parking with almost all the parking area being concreted hard standing. The blue structure behind was a drive through vehicle wash. From left to right: H629 UWR, a Plaxton Paramount 3500 bodied Volvo B10M new to Wallace Arnold in 1991; E361 NEG and E360 NEG, both Plaxton Paramount 3500 bodied Volvo B10M new to Premier Travel Services in 1988. Note however that E360 NEG, once a CCS coach, now carries the fleetname of Rover Coaches.
