RATP (Paris) 4822 - 30 Apr 1992

Thursday 30 April 1992 – RATP 4822 seen in Place Saint Germain des Pres on a mid-morning working of service 95 from Gare Montparnasse to Porte de Montmartre. Many RATP services traverse some narrow streets and 4822 is about to disappear down Rue de Bonaparte in the background. It is an RVI PR100 articulated, a design that originated with Berliet prior to it merging into RVI with Renault.

RATP (Régie Autonome des Transports Parisiens) buses did not carry registration numbers in the normal way, the fleet number was carried as a registration number.
