DSCN2060 VBL (Luzern) 210 and 150 - 14 Jun 2008

Saturday 14 June 2008 (0838) - Verkehrsbetriebe der Stadt Luzern (VBL) articulated buses at Luzern Bahnhof. On the left: The Euro 2008 football tournament was in full swing and trolleybus 210 (new 2006) carried a special livery. Hess/Vossloh Kiepe BGT-N2C Swiss Trolley III. New 2004. It was working the 0839 trip of service 2 to Emmenbrücke and Sprengi. On the right: 150 (LU 15502), a diesel powered Mercedes-Benz Citaro (new 2003), carrying fleet livery with a full rear end advert. It was working the 0839 trip of service 12 to Littau Gasshof. (Licence plates are not carried by Swiss trolleybuses).
