DSCF0556 Model of Yelloway HDK 803

Saturday 4 July 2015 - A much smaller preservation item of Yelloway heritage is a model representing Trans-United bodied HDK 803 - although in model terms it is quite big measuring about 60cm (2 feet) in length. For many years it was on display in the front window of the Yelloway Travel Bureau at Weir Street and as a boy I recall coveting it numerous times with nose pressed up to the window! The real thing was an AEC Regal new in 1951.
