Stagecoach East (Cambus) 19164 (MX07 HNF) at Sawston - 7 Jul 2014 (DSCF5387)

Monday 7 July 2014 (1304) - The Tour de France cycle race set forth from Cambridge today which saw major disruption to bus services and general traffic. Most of the roads used by the Citi 7 service (Cambridge to Sawston, Pampisford and Saffron Walden) were affected which resulted in a special service for this day only linking Sawston and the Babraham Road Park and Ride Site. Stagecoach ADL Trident/Enviro400 19164 (MX07 HNF) was outside the old White Horse pub, Sawston, which is now a private house before returning to Babraham Road Park and Ride. It is not unusual to see Citi 7 buses terminate here as part of the normal schedule. The road closure sign is still in place on the right. This bus entered service with Stagecoach Manchester in August 2007.
