Today's hike in brilliant sunshine (26°C) was from Glenmore near the Reindeer Centre to lochans beyond Ryvoan Bothy, home of the Red-throated Diver. Part of the loop back is what rated it an intermediate hike - several hundred rough stone steps up the steep slope of Meall a' Bhuachaille (2,657 feet).
