Sunshine at Last - and Meteors!

A seat in the shade and the view from it... this evening from just before midnight to half past midnght I was lying flat out on the bench watching meteors flashing across the night sky, before the moon rose! We are at the peak of the 2012 Perseid meteor shower. Northern Hemisphere observers should be able to see over 60 meteors per hour in a dark sky. I counted at least fifteen in the short time I was watching - pure magic!
