It’s alway more interesting with a bit of cloud around for a photograph though not always the same for finding the route.

Yes I like the mood of the gloomy clouds, it's a characteristic of these parts that inspires me. The problem is always knowing where you are, as you have pointed out.

The one thing I dont have in my side of australia hight like this some I miss from NZ. Love the cloud effects.

Thanks Steve, I've never been to NZ, I think that their mountains are much higher than our ones and they certainly look spectacular. Still it's great fun climbing these ones and there's a whole raft of people who make it their hobby to climb every one in each category.

Thank you very much Herb. I'd just finished climbing up the ridge in the picture and was about to head back down it. More often than not there's nothing to see, but I was lucky here.
