tributaries,
skeins of light,
liquid beings among the stones
reflecting
on what guides
and glides away between :
leaves and sunlight
dapple our faces:
we are surface and depth,
bubble and chatter,
slippage and flow:
helplessly we go
into the complexity
of iridescence
and vortices.
