the modern concrete buildings won't last nearly as long as the castle.

Unfortunately modern times and the concrete buildings spoils these beauties! It is diffucult to understand why !

Thank you very much Fusun. My thought exactly. As you can see there are trees in between the castle and buildings so it hleps to hide them from view, but from this angle the buildings seem quite unsightly. You ahve to hope that one day they will pull them down and replace them with something more in keeping with the castle view.

I have "spent" there 9 hours in August of 70....venties.
Quite at 23.30 to go night sleepting in a Renault 8 inside a Renault R8 waiting
for Him, of course, the monster...
And my friend, pure Suisse brand. the morning after after asked me if he could drive...
It was a rule, Ausland from Switzerlanh he NEVER drove and when he took it I went to sleep instantly...the brakes to kill a deadman ...he had forgotten that we were in Englend.
Two notes:
Both under 20.
Both fanatical picture takers,
Both been until 11 PM in a show of Scotish Dances (yes the day was still bright..
Yes, the "two American girls we started speaking too were funny, bright and clever.

Such a tragic story Jose! I have twice driven on the wrong side of the road, once in Italy going the wrong way around a roundabout and the other at a South England port just returning from two weeks in France. Both times a real shock and could have been tragic with my wife besides me. Fortunately we were lucky. ~ Your memories live on as do our own.

Inverness is a great small city and the folk music of these places is real.
