Tienes razón; la hierba está alta... pero en lo que se ve. Quizá han rumiado en otra zona y luego se han venido a dormir a la sombra que junto al agua se está más fresco. Lo dice quien tiene experiencia en sestear en choperas con el arrullo del tintineo de las hojas de los chopos mecidas por la brisa que nunca falta en las choperas con río. HFF Carol.

That sounds just perfect to me Jose. Just to breathe in the clean fresh air in a quiet place in the countryside, with the heat of the sun tempered by the shade of the trees and the sound of a stream close by is a joy to me. Simple pleasures that mean a lot.

Thank you very much Isabel. It is probably a result of all the rain we have!! I have noticed though that since the pandemic very little seems to be cut back and hedgerows and fields are wild and the grass lush.

Thank you very much Annalia. Back to needing those coats this week, - it is colder and very wet. They are probably glad of the trees for shelter from the rain but I imagine the wet grass tickles their tummies and makes their wool wet!

Belated HFF Carol. I love looking at pictures of sheep in UK, up to their knees or shoulders in lush green grass. Here they are often strung out across sparse yellow stubble on red soil on endless plains. If there is a tree or two, there may be 100 sheep huddled in its shade! I do love these! Happy Sunday.

Thank you very much Diana. I am pleased you liked seeing our pampered sheep! They are making the most of the long grass, both to make a soft bed and also to eat if they want. Since the pandemic grass and hedgerows seem to be left untouched in the countryside. If the sheep are supposed to be keeping it cropped here they don't appear to be up to the job!!
