Love these old farm buildings Doug. So many have been converted to dwellings nowadays. They are very attractive, but I would love to see hens running around inside them, like we used to have, long ago. A lovely shot.

A nice renovated building. If there is no farm anymore, what is it today? HFF Doug.

Thanks so much for your visit Christa. The farmhouse, which is situated behind these outbuildings, is now a private home that has also undergone renovations. It was not in very good condition (like the rest of the farm buildings) but the new owners (about 25 years ago) undertook extensive repairs and rebuilding to make it into a fine larger house. They kept very much to the original style during the this process. Most of the land belonging to the farm was either sold to or is rented by other famers in the area. I remember the buildings in the picture as having a rather large bull in residence about 30 plus years ago. He would stand where the door is now, watching the world go by in the company of a number of chickens.
