Built in 1909/10, the station is both a station hall and an elaborately designed street bridge (Carl-Zuckmayer-Brücke), which is representatively decorated with sandstone sculptures. The bridge divides the Rudolph Wilde Park into an eastern and a western half. The western half is a landscape park with a lake (see PiP), the eastern half a kind of spa park.
