Heide's favorite photos

The Christmas spirit goes on at the Great Central. We were rostered on British Railways Standard 5 4-6-0 73156 for two afternoon trips, the second one being after dark. Not many people around on the platform at Rothley - they were all being serviced by Santa on the train - but as the other train was still on the single line near Leicester we waited here for quite a while. A chance to grab a shot then. HBM to everybody. Enjoy the start of the new week.

Ich habe grade meine Winterreifen in der Werkstatt montieren lassen und wie verbringt man am Besten die wartende Zeit,natürlich mit einer Kamera,ich habe da ein landwirtschaftliches Feld entdeckt,wo Geräte und andere Dinge standen und lagen,da fand ich ein paar interessante Motive,wie hier eine Schraube mit ihrer Mutter,die ich aus verschiedenen Ansichten fotografierte :)) Pip1-6: Nahaufnahmen Schraube mit Mutter I've just had my winter tires fitted in the workshop and what's the best way to spend the time waiting? With a camera, of course. I discovered an agricultural field where equipment and other things were standing and lying. I found a few interesting subjects, like a screw with its nut, which I photographed from different angles :)) Pip1-6: Close-ups of screw with nut Je viens de faire monter mes pneus hiver en atelier et quelle est la meilleure façon de passer le temps d'attente, avec un appareil photo bien sûr, j'ai découvert un champ agricole où du matériel et d'autres choses étaient debout et couchés là, j'en ai trouvé quelques intéressants des motifs, comme ici une vis avec sa mère, que j'ai photographiée sous différentes vues :)) Pip1-6 : vis de gros plan avec écrou

Ich finde ja die Fliegen immer als sehr interessante Fotomotive,wenn man aus der Nähe ihren Körperaufbau sieht,in der Natur lassen sie auch meistens einen sehr nah ran,ich habe eine kleine Serie von Fliegenaufnahmen zusammen gestellt :)) Pip1-6: Nahaufnahmen der Fliegen I always find flies to be very interesting subjects for photos when you see their body structure up close. In nature they usually let you get very close.
