Dated 1635, relieved of James Matthews addition of 1867 and reconstructed Christopher Davey 1978-79. Rectangular plan with stair outshot at back (reconstructed Matthews 1867 and again 1978) Low 2-storey and attic harled with margins, N. frontage 3 windows with
2 Victorian gablet dormers centred over outer windows, corbelled angle turrets with conical roofs; lower and slightly later 2-storey E wing with masonry dormerhead of 1867. Windowless W. gable with 1635 armorial panel, south elevation much reconstructed. Slated roof, Matthews skews and shafted chimneys removed and new stacks built. Interior detail including fine 1st floor panelled room lost due to vandalism mid-1970's.
