Lessendrum, Aberdeenshire
'Labelled Mrs Bisset, Walter, and Janet 1896 spent summer here of 1897'. Lessendrum was badly damaged by fire in the 1920s and is now an overgrown ruin.
The three figures are probably Anna Elrington-Bisset and her children Janet Kathleen b1886 and Walter (1889-1915) Walter served in the Gordon Highlanders and died at the battle of Loos, his body was sadly never found.
