wallow?
Every year, on the first hot day, we make a wallow for our pigs of that year. It is the first time they have seen a wallow, having been born in the autumn, but they instinctively know what it is. Usually they slide straight in into it with piggy glee. But not these three. They looked and sniffed and drank a little (*this is not their only water source!!*) walked in a bit, and then got out. We put some food in the mud, so they would snout about a bit and get a feel for it. Nup. I even admit to pushing Hamela in to get the whole body experience of cool mud. (She toppled easily). But they did not take to it. Maybe it's just not hot enough yet
