midnight pie

Awesome decided at 10pm that he would like to utilise the leftover egg whites to bake a lemon meringue pie. He had never done it before, but said "my sister bakes them and I thought I had seen her do it enough times to be able to do it." He was able to google a recipe on how to do the meringue part, but asked if I could help him make the lemon filling and the pastry. We couldn't eat till about 1am but it was truly an Awesome Pie.
