my robo-thumb
Jennifer took me back to the dreaded Dandenong Hospital so they could check on the progress of the surgery to re-attach the severed extensor tendon on my left thumb. This time we did not go to the DTC but were in Outpatients. All lovely people there! I discussed poultry with the delightful Mr John Crock (plastic surgeon) and the equally delightful Simone Nothdurft, hand therapist, made me a new splint to get me through the next 5 weeks. Thumbs up this time!
