Jennifer rushed me to South Gippsland Hospital in Foster. Dr Wayne came in to check it out. As he administered the horribly painful local anaesthetic by injection to my thumb the nurse held my held and barked at me "squeeze harder!" to distract me, and Jennifer sat cheek by cheek singing
